If you were driving while under her employment, she should pay the deductible. ------

If you had permission to drive her vehicle, you are under no obligation to pay her deductible. She can certainly try to sue you, but I doubt it will go anywhere. For a successful lawsuit, you must prove negligence and damages. She may have damages, but proving negligence could be difficult. ------

File a reply to the accusation that you are authorized to drive the truck and the accident was not caused by your fault. ------

You are NOT correct- just because it's during working hours doesn't absolve you of liability. If you crash you can still be liable for the deductible, it will depend on the conditions of your employment.- David ------

You don't need advice from anybody on this site. You need advice from your lawyer. Your lawyer will probably tell you not to discuss your case with any body. You need to consult your lawyer.. ------
