The reason I say this is that me and my sibling both work in nursing homes, and since these laws came about, everything being considered a restraint is causing more harm than good for residents. Residents are falling more often than they ever did, often causing severe and painful injuries such as broken hips. Some of them never recover, and end up dying. I think restraints can actually be humane in this situation. I've seen far too many residents moaning in pain from their fall injuries. ------
