The difference between law enforcement and military is that law enforcement protects the public from domestic threats and the military protects us from foreign threats. MIlitary has better weapons because it is not as big of a deal to kill foreign threats as it is to kill domestic threats (especially since someone is presumed innocent until proven guilty). ------
