Basically, I was sexually harassed at work by a fellow co-worker who is going to become one of my supervisors on Monday. I spoke with the administration and they want to do a mediation because this person and I have deeper problems than just being sexually harassed. I have never had a mediation.. what can I expect during the mediation? ------

They will sit there and ask you for both sides of the story. They want to make sure that any harassment is not just perceived but real. It will kind of like when you were in grade school and the teacher is trying to get to the bottom of a fight in the school yard.My opinion would be for you to investigate what constitutes sexual harassment before you go in. At my company they said anything that was said to a women or man that would not be said if their spouse was around is inappropriate. Please make sure you know the law and the policy of your company regarding sexual harassment before you go in and do not let them push you into letting it drop if it is not what you want. ------
