Default Lets say a girl gets into an argument with her father in law?

She attempts to say shes sorry and he keeps the argument going.....Is she the only one at fault? Does she need to make another attempt to apologize because she disrespected the"man of the family"? Or should it work both ways? I mean, does being older or being a man give you the right to disrespect someone and it be okay? I understand"respect your elders", but I always felt that you have to give respect to get respect. Disrespect me and I will do it back. ------
