Default I think I want cremated when I die

Northern Americans spend billions on funerals each year, but the funeral or funeral services don't have to be costly. A funeral could be a straightforward internment or an elaborate affair with music, speakers, customised boxes and refreshments for mourners. Family, spiritual or personal choices are significant, but cost and convenience should be thought to be as well.

"Many families are compelled to make calls about funerals under stress," said Michelle L. Corey, BBB President and General Manager. "By teaching themselves about the process and taking time to raise questions and compare costs, families can avoid overspending. They are likelier to get the type of service they need, too."

The Fed Trade Commission's Funeral Rule gives buyers numerous rights, including the inherent right to receive written price lists, illustrations of cemetery or legal requirements and the choice of using a container apart from a box for cremation. Some cemeteries have their own wants, which should be explained completely prior to making a purchase.Orange County Cremation Company
