Bankruptcy filing question - Illinois

Hi I have a question. My husband and I are looking to file chapter 7 bankruptcy. With just the two of us we are just shy of the income guideline. We live in Illinois if that helps. We are expecting a child in May of this year (which is only 3 months away). Which when we have her we will have three in the household and would be able to file with the income that we make. My question is is there a time frame of how old the child has to be. Meaning do we have to wait until she is so many months old or can we file after she is born. We just want to know what our options would be. Please let me know Thanks.

P.S. Oh yeah we have to file because his income at work has been cut significantly because he is a commission based pay and my private student loans have come due and we cannot afford to pay the student loans and our other credit card debt. So in order to clear up money to pay the student loans we have to get rid of our other debt. I have tried to work with the student loan company but they will not adjust my payments at all nor will they grant me a deferrment for financial reasons.
