Default contract law

The court won't enforce any illegality in a contract and there's a ton of affirmative defenses the breacher can use to get out of a contract. I.e. If someone enters a contract to grossly overpay for an item they can claim un conscionability. If someone signed a contract while enduring severe emotional stress they can claim duress. If someone was tricked into signing the contract they can claim fraud. There's a lot of ways to get out of unfair contracts so I'm not exactly sure what you mean by enforceable heinous contracts.
